St Francis Pre-School - Begin your journey with Us. Us, who''s ''Us''? ''Us'' is a Pre-School Learning Alliance constituted parent-owned group offering care and education to children aged between 2 to 5. We have met in the big hall at St Francis Church in various guises continually since 1965. That''s who ''Us'' is. St Francis Church is at the bottom of the Upper Chobham Road. The building is set back from the road and despite putting out signs telling of our existence visitors often exclaim ''I didn''t know you were here? Are you a new group?'' At which point we giggle slightly give them the potted history and tell them what a fabulous 40th birthday party we had - and how we are looking forward to our half century. When you walk up the slope you will see a sign which says ''No need to make and appointment. Just drop in!'' We mean that. Pop in for a visit and see us as we are. Stay and play, join in the day''s goings-on and chat to the friendly staff. We don''t claim to be perfect, but we are fun to be with. Ready and willing to work with you to make your child''s early years a positive and enjoyable experience.
