I was born in Nsawam one of the villages in Ghana. I was born into a family of well known Royal drummers. At the age of 6yrs, I was inspired by my grandmother "Abiba Okailey Ablah" the mother of the Ghanaian famous master drummer Mustapha Tettey Addy as she always tried to teach me the the drumming by singing the rhythms. I was then trained on the drums by my uncle, "Mustapha Tettey Addy". About Friendly African Drumming and Dance workshop in Schools. I am an African drummer who has been teaching for the past 30 years sharing my knowledge of African music throughout the Uk and abroad. with 30yrs of experience, my educational programmes invites people of all ages and ability to personally experience the complexity and dynamism of African music and dance through participation.
