Cornish Timber is a Family owned sawmill and Timber Merchants business which is managed and run by Phil, Jamie and Penny Alston. You can find them at Part Century House, Parkengue, Kernick Industrial Estate, Penryn, Cornwall, TR10 9EP. Go straight over the roundabout (Asda on right B&Q on left). Down to the bottom of the Road and you’re there. The Family have recently invested in a new sawmill, including facilities to kiln dry and machine quality hardwoods from Cornish woodlands. They also cut building timbers, beams and fencing in Oak, Sweet Chestnut, Ash, Larch and Douglas Fir. All trees are sourced locally and waste products are used to heat the kilns and workshops, minimising their carbon footprint.

Their timber is sought by furniture makers and builders alike. They manufacture Oak, Larch and Chestnut flooring, Larch fencing and trellis panels, Oak and Willow fencing and timber for garden buildings and decking.

Cornish Timber specialise in decorative cuts of Burr and Pippy Oak, Chestnut whorls, Spalted Beech and Cornish Elm, all available Kiln dried in joinery specification which are exquisite for furniture makers or for wood turning. You should also look at their off cut baskets, where fantastic bargains and rustic garden timbers can be found.
