Karen''s Counselling

I am a professionally qualified Counsellor and Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP)(www.bacp.co.uk) I offer short term and long term counselling to individual adults, (usually face-to-face) in weekly sessions. I am happy to receive self-referals. I aim to build a collaborative relationship and use a range of psychological theories to help with various issues which a client may bring. Exploring issues and raising awareness helps the client to understand their own processes and whatever the cause I aim to help build self esteem and enhance personal well-being. I work in Bishop''s Stortford which is on the Herts / Essex border and can be easily reached from surrounding towns and villages and even London via the M11. Issues may be seperation, loss and bereavement, low self esteem, stress, health issues such as long term illness, depression, anxiety and many more.
