What is Counselling Psychology and how do I work? Counselling psychology is the discussion of a specific issue in your past or present life. The therapy promotes positive change by helping you to understand the issue clearly and then to identify realistic goals. Both short and long-term counselling services are available, using a professional, confidential and relaxed approach. My practice offers a complete bespoke service to individuals and/or couples. Trained in and applying the underlying priniciples of several models including Cognitive Behavourial Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Integrative. This knowledge and the skilled application of these models allows me to meet the therapeutic needs of each individual client.
