Lilja Katanka is a qualified TCM Acupuncture practitioner having studied for 4 years at Westminster University, London, and XiYuan hospital in Beijing. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. Her training included theory and practice in Acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese Massage therapy) Moxibustion and Cupping. Treatment is holistic, and takes into account the lifestyle and medical history of each individual patient - dietary and lifestyle advice is often central to the healing process. Diagnosis includes in depth questioning, as well as pulse palpation and observation of the tongue. She has also trained in Traditional Thai Massage in Wat Po, Bangkok, and is qualified in Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture, having studied under Virginia Doran.
