The career of a dog groomer is a lot of fun, it can also be very lucrative, but starting up can be a daunting prospect if you dont have essential practical skills. Here at PADS you will obtain those skills with the help of our friendly City & Guilds qualified trainers who will guide you from beginner to knowledgeable, competent groomer. No exams, no stress! Over 10 days you will gain practical, hands-on training from professional tutors, who have worked as groomers themselves. You will learn the tools of the trade, breed recognition, product suitability, handling, nail clipping, ear plucking and technical, breed-specific clips. We also offer an optional 2 day add-on course covering hand stripping techniques.
