Crane Design

Established in 2000 by Japanese designer Kensuke Yamada, Crane Design offers a handcrafted collection of modern, stylish furniture made from a selection of fine, natural wood, the character of which adds a unique richness to each piece. Whilst maintaining a crisp, contemporary design, Kensuke is strongly influenced by his late maternal grandfather, who taught him the traditional Japanese carpentry methods that are displayed in his design. Our furniture is carefully handmade in our London workshop and, as it is made-to-order, the sizing of each piece can be varied in order to fit in your space.
