Southwest Horseboxes specializes in converting 3.5t van type horseboxes, producing around 30 horseboxes annually for customers across the UK & Europe. Established in 2003, our skilled coach-builders at our West Midlands workshops have more than 20 years of experience in the equine transport industry. Our Van Type horseboxes are user-friendly, can be driven with a standard car license, and only require a class 7 MOT, resulting in maintenance costs similar to those of a car. These horseboxes are also relatively inexpensive to insure. We exclusively work on Renault Master, Vauxhall Movano, and Nissan Interstar chassis, as their suspension provides excellent handling and the chassis' low profile allows for a gentle incline for easy loading and unloading. We have a variety of new and used horseboxes in stock, which can be viewed by appointment at our Bristol Headquarters. Additionally, we offer virtual viewings and a delivery service for added convenience, eliminating the need for customers to travel to us.
