Acupuncture is the main therapy but I may also use Tuina massage, cupping, guasha and moxibustion if appropriate. I have completed further training in cosmetic acupuncture and Shonishin, a needle- free paediatric technique using gentle stroking and tapping. I have completed a 4 year BSc (Hons) degree in acupuncture and was awarded a First class. I am registered with the British Acupuncture Council, which means I am bound by strict codes of safe practice and professional conduct. My approach is gentle and thorough and I aim to establish and treat the root cause, in order to bring about a lasting resolution. I not only focus on diagnosing and treating the patient's presenting problem, but also look closely at diet, lifestyle and emotional well- being. Acupuncture involves the insertion of ultra- fine disposable needles into specific points on the body. I use as few points as possible in a treatment, in some cases, only 4 needles are necessary and they may be withdrawn immediately, or left in place for 20 mins. I operate from a lovely, spacious ground floor treatment room in Shermanbury, which has free on- site car parking. I also serve the wider community including Henfield, Partridge Green, Cowfold, Hurstpierpoint, Albourne, Ashurst, Steyning, Shoreham, Small Dole and beyond.
