I am Collette Lawson from Collette's Creature Comforts Ltd and I possess a lifetime of animal handling and care experience. I have been riding horses from a young age and lived on small holdings most my life. I now live in Coxhoe with my husband, German Shepherd and Lhasa Apso. I have gained various animal care qualifications, such as: Diploma in Farming Management from Stonebridge Agricultural College.Certificate in Small Animal Care from Stonebridge Agricultural College. Horse Owners Certificate Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 from The British Horse Society. ​ I am competent in animal first aid through experience, but I have also recently completed an online course in dog agility and pet first aid. I am fully insured and DBS checked. I offer: Lone dog walking & per household dog walking for £15 per hour. Pet visits to your home for all types of animal charged at £7.50 for half an hour and £15 per hour. House sitting for a non pet household, 7pm-7am charged at £25 per night. House sitting for a pet household, 7pm-7am charged at £30 per night. (Does not include dog walking) Small holding sitting, 7pm -7am charged at £50 per night. Includes feeding and cleaning up after all pets, as well as feeding and checking over livestock, poultry and equines. Does not include dog walking. I also offer visits to care for your livestock and equines. I charge £15 per hour, which includes such services as bringing in/ turning out, foot picking, brushing, feeding, rugging up/ changing rugs, changing water in troughs, feed prep, mucking out, and tasks as appropriate. The above charges are based within 5 miles of Coxhoe by road. If over 5 miles, I charge a £5 fuel surcharge per visit. I can tailor packages to suit your requirements.
