Richard is a photographer based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Photographing weddings, christening and portraits near you! He specialises in wedding photography, christenings and family portraits. He was taught photography at art college in Rotherham. A great image for me has to convey emotion and a connection that draws you into the image. It could be a happy moment, it could be a sad moment but you need to feel something when looking. With a strong background in Art & Design, his photographic style is a blend of documentary [capturing moments as they happen or second guessing when something is about to happen] and traditional wedding photography. He currently uses Nikon cameras which are easy to use, durable, reliable and fantastic cameras! He is fortunate enough to have had his photography work published both online and in print. Being a photographer is not just a job to me, it's a passion and part of me since the day I picked up a camera.
