Manual Handling Training PLUS is a one day training course that helps keep your staff safe in their physically demanding role. In the morning we have an indoor session looking at the legalities and responsibilities of manual handling, before diving into an introduction to bio-mechanics and moving and handling theory. In the afternoon we have a practical session that teaches your staff how to reduce injury risk through warming up, using their body correctly, and caring for any stiffness, aches or pains. This session is designed around their work and is pragmatic in its approach. Techniques are simple to implement, and we do not finish the day until everyone has learned something new that will help them in their role. Training is delivered by Seonaidh Jamieson, a fully qualified L3 Manual Handling Trainer, L3 Personal Trainer and Mobility Instructor.
