The Yew Tree is a traditional pub set in the picturesque village of Lower Wield, near Alresford. We serve traditional cask ales, a great selection of wine and delicious homemade food that we source locally. We pride ourselves on supporting the local breweries from surrounding areas of Hampshire, Sussex and Wiltshire. With Trifle FFF as our house and a rather substantial 20 brewers on a rotation for the guest spot, we have wide choice of rather interesting ales to suit every palate. We source our wine from 10 suppliers offering choice and variety with plenty of them available by the glass. Locally sourcing our ingredients for the menu means we can offer a genuinely traditional, seasonal menu, salads in summer, hearty fare in the winter, whilst keeping up with the regular burgers, steaks etc. We offer everything from a light snack or sandwich, through to a feast fit for a King (or Queen) and our lamb shoulder has been met with rave reviews.
