Our Long Jump Runway is constructed using the finest materials and designed to give many years of superb service with the minimum of maintenance. The "tartan" surface is a rubber shock absorbing layer with a red rubber crumb and red polyurethane wearing coat, over a layer of no-fines concrete on top of MOT type 1 crushed stone. Our Long Jump Landing Pit is 7.0 metres long by 300mm deep for Primary Schools and 9.00 metres long by 400mm deep for Senior Schools and Clubs. It is available in various widths from 3.0 metres upwards and has a pre-cast concrete surround with rubber safety capping, geotextile fabric and washed white sand which will not stain or compact.
