The Tappit Hen is a great wee shop. It specialises in gold and silver jewellery in Celtic and Scottish designs. See the beautiful wedding bands in original designs. We also have an exciting range of Scottish gifts in ceramics, glass and pewter including thistle china, flower paperweights and pewter quaichs and tankards. The shop is one of the oldest Scottish gift shops on the Royal Mile. It is named after the Scottish pewter measure known as a tappit hen, a spoutless jug that pours beautifully.
