Hannibal Brown is a character who has evolved as a representation of our passion for exploring wines from around the globe. He was born at the dining room table over a number of glasses of fantastic Carignan and a very tasty Cornish Cheddar. We want Hannibal to encourage people to step out of their comfort zone and try something a little different. We all like to relax with a Rioja or a Sauvignon Blanc, but what about a Cinsault or a Gruner Veltliner for a change? We are a small team that has been handpicked with the same rigour as the grapes that produce our wines. Our knowledge and experience means you can trust in our judgement and benefit from the care that we have put into choosing them. Our range is small but perfectly formed, designed intentionally not to frighten you or bamboozle you - or worse bore the living daylights out of you. Customers can browse our wines on our website and choose to either select individual bottles or to choose from any of our mixed cases. There are many categories to make finding the right wine a little easier, for example you can search under ''Spicy food'' and find all the wines which will go nicely with that food pairing. We also offer wine tastings. These can be small affairs in your own home to much larger events for clubs or businesses. For weddings we can provide a free consultation, tasting and then supply at a preferential rate, to ensure the best possible wines are chosen for the big day.
