BCA Training provide courses and workshops aimed at ordinary people to demystify and de-stigmatise issues around mental health and stress awareness. Our flagship course is Mental Health First Aid, a 12 hour course that gives participants a toolbox of skills that enable them to spot the signs and symptoms of a developing problem, provide initial help and guide the person to appropriate professional help. In addition we offer a Youth version of MHFA catering for those who work with young people, and can also facilitate bespoke MHFA instructor courses for those organisations that require in-house instructors amongst their employees. Our trainers have a wealth of experience in the fields of mental health and wellbeing. This enables us to offere further courses and workshops in subjects such as: Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP), Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Disability Awarenes, Drug/Alcohol Awareness, Adult Safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act. We are also pleased to announce that we have a new course in Staff Self Care, aimed staff/carers supporting people with a high level of need.
