The Garden Tearoom and Deli

The Garden Tea Room at Stoneleigh, is set in a lovely period village house in Kingsland overlooking the Millennium Green. In the heart of the black and white trail this elegant tearoom is a welcome stop whether you want to relax yourself, or treat someone special. Talented young chef Sam Bruce of Scrummy Bites (awarded Ludlow Food Festival Graeme Kidd Bursary 2010) specialises in cooking delicious local food that will delight your taste buds. This tea room offers healthy lunch time meals, light bites or naughty teatime treats. Vegetarian, wheat and diary free options are always available ensuring there is something for everyone. Enjoy a cosy log fire in the winter and during the warmer months the tearoom opens out onto the peaceful garden where tea can be taken watched by the bantams and cat. Most importantly, emphasis is placed on the quality of every single item that is served, from the selection of glass domed cakes, fair-trade teas and coffees, organic juices and cordials, to the fresh food made by Sam from excellent quality ingredients sourced locally where possible. Many dishes are also available to take home or for a picnic, special events and family gatherings are catered for with tailor made dishes.
