Suffolk Latch Company

The Suffolk Latch Company is based in the picturesque small town of Clare on the Suffolk/Essex Border. We specialise in the supply of traditional hand forged black ironmongery. We began life as a small joinery company buying in black door furniture and window furniture for our own use. In 2007 we launched our website and are continually adding to our range of traditional ironmongery. Our most popular items include the Suffolk Latch, which also comes in a Gothic Latch style, Penny End Tee Hinges and Arrow End Tee Hinges (sometimes known as T Hinges), Door Bolts and Hand Forged Nails. All of our black ironmongery is hand forged and therefore gives our period hardware and individual look.
