Jo Howard is a massage therapist specialising in myofascial therapy.

Myofascial therapy is a type of massage directed at the fascia (connective tissue of the body) as well as the muscles which lie within. It addresses issues arising from altered body alignment caused by poor posture, pain, chronic muscle tension, work, sport and injury. This integrated approach looks at patterns of tension in the whole body, recognising that focusing on a single body part may not address the root cause of pain.

Combining myofascial work with a variety of other massage and soft tissue techniques, Jo has developed a treatment approach she has found to be powerful and effective.

Jo's work allows her to focus many years of professional experience in the areas of health and sport, in a treatment approach which values the whole person. Her priority is to give clients the time and attention they need to bring about real change in their health and wellbeing.
